Here is an example of another item we came across at a customer site, this heater was fully functional and was in daily use and also achieved a pass went put on the test meter.

Once our engineer carried out the full visual inspection (including opening the plug) he noticed that the item was over heating which could have easily resulted in a fire.

This is why its important to understand that the job has to be carried out properly and no corners cut so be aware of how your testing is completed and understand that a sticker doesn't always tell the full story.
