PAT  is a safety measure, like the MOT test on your car – it’s not just carried out to provide a certificate – it is for your safety.  After more than 16 years of trading, we have heard reports of cheaper prices provided by other providers where corners have been cut, and which unfortunately sometimes has put our particular trade into disrepute.

When requesting quotations from providers, for your own safety and peace of mind, along with the price - there are a few things you should ask and of which you should be aware.  

Is the service provider insured to carry out the work?

Are their technicians qualified to work?

Have the technicians been DBS checked?

Is their testing equipment calibrated?

Has the service provider a Health & Safety Policy Summary? Do they have a Method Statement? Do they have a Risk Assessment?

If they are a reputable company, they will have no objections in providing any of the above information.
